Breast Care Team are FINALISTS

The South Australian Nursing and Midwifery Excellence Awards publicly recognise and celebrate the significant contribution that nurses and midwives make to the healthcare outcomes of the broader South Australian community.

We are absolutely delighted to share that our Breast Care Nurse (BCN) team are FINALISTS this year in the category of Excellence in Practice – Team!

This is such a wonderful recognition for this team who provide exceptional emotional, physical, and psychological support in our multidisciplinary breast clinic service.

With 3,059 breast cancer surgeries in the last calendar year, our BCN team works tirelessly to meet our patient's individual medical needs in the shortest possible time to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Congratulations BCN Team! The awards are announced on 21 October 2022.
