St Andrew’s Welcomes New CEO

Mr David Whitbread, Chairman, St Andrew’s Hospital has announced the appointment of the Hospital’s new Chief Executive Officer, Ms Eileen Sawyer who will commence in the role in early 2025.
Ms Sawyer brings a wealth of senior level experience across a diverse range of industries and specialisations including aged care, property, infrastructure, hospitality and entertainment.
Ms Sawyer’s appointment will see her return with her family from her current senior executive position in London to her family’s home city of Adelaide.
Mr Whitbread commented: “Eileen greatly impressed our Board’s Selection Panel with her deep knowledge of the challenges and opportunities facing health care services internationally and across Australia. She has an amazing work ethic, a high level of intelligence and commercial acumen and most importantly, her values are completely aligned with those of St Andrew’s given her passionate focus on patient care and staff and stakeholder relationships. Eileen’s appointment is the result of a national and international search for our new CEO and we are delighted to have attracted a person of her calibre to lead St Andrew’s through its next era of inspirational leadership.”
